A recent independent survey of almost 200 orthotic and prosthetic patients who received care by Sampson's showed that our practice delivers a very high degree of patient satisfaction.
The survey, conducted quarterly by Quality Outcomes, asked patients a series of questions related to their experience with their O&P professionals. Sampson's fared exceptionally well, scoring above the national average for orthotic and prosthetic practices in three main categories.
The first category of the survey was overall patient satisfaction, and 96.68% of Sampson's patients surveyed answered that they are satisfied overall with their experience. This rating is nearly two percent higher than the national average score.
Sampson's also received favorable feedback when it comes to the likelihood of referral. 99.59% of patients surveyed said that they would recommend Sampson's to family and friends. This score is also nearly two percent higher than the national average.
The third area of the survey produced Sampson's best results when compared to the national average. The survey asked patients a series of questions related to Sampson's patient education. Sampson's received an exceptional score of 96.17%, which is an overall weighted score comprised of all education-related questions on the survey. Sampson's score in this area turned out to be more than seven percent higher than the national average.
While the survey produced generally positive results, it also presented Sampson's with valuable feedback that will allow the practice to continue improving its methods to provide quality care to patients.
